A Notary is an officially certified professional, usually a lawyer, with the power to administer oaths and statutory declarations, and to witness and authenticate documents.

A Notary deasl with legal documents that will be used in another country. This might mean verifying translations to be used abroad, or verifying power of attorney on behalf of a client with property in a different country.

Foreign jurisdictions may require some documents to be legalised. Legalisation or, where necessary, an Apostille, is the process whereby a Notary's signature and seal is certified to be genuine. The methods of legalisation vary from one country to another and in the UK is obtained from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. We are familiar with the procedures and are able to assist where these procedures are required.
